Steve and his wife Lyn both became Christians as teenagers. Over the years, they have been part of a church that became part of the Pioneer movement, an independent charismatic evangelical church, and a Baptist church that was part of New Wine. In recent years, they joined a Vineyard church plant before becoming Senior Pastors of Aylesbury Vineyard. They also served as interim Senior Pastors of Sutton Vineyard during a nine-month interregnum.

Steve has a Master of Arts degree in biblical interpretation from The London School of Theology, with Distinction, and a PhD in systematic theology from King’s College London.

No, not at all. He is deeply influenced by core Vineyard values, as you might expect, but those will be very familiar to the pastors and movements influenced by John Wimber and the early Vineyard. For sure, he loves spending time with Vineyard pastors and their churches, but he loves being with others, too!

Steve and Lyn have a background in churches of different shapes and sizes, ranging from being part of small church plants to leading quite large established churches. Steve is very conscious of the different needs, requirements, and characteristics of different types and sizes of churches.

One of Steve’s values is that cost should not be an impediment. Understandably, the main factor affecting cost is the time involved. The best thing to do in the first instance is to make contact, after which we can have a conversation. If funds are a challenge, we’ll aim to find a way!

Yes, certainly. He is particularly familiar with the US and has traveled to speak there on several occasions.

Absolutely. You are most welcome to beg, borrow, and steal from the articles to your heart’s content (copy as much as you like). There’s no need to attribute it to him, either.
